Want to root HTC EVO 4G? Running Android 2.2? Follow my simple instructions and you’ll be there in no time at all. It’s literally a one-click process.

But first, let’s take a brief look at the benefits of rooting EVO phones in the first place for those who are either new to this subject or simply not convinced.

Rooting your phone is lifting the restrictions imposed. If you’ve ever tried, for example, to uninstall Spring NASCAR app, you’ll know that it’s not possible… that is, if your phone has not been rooted. Rooting your phone gives you complete freedom over your phone. It gives you the ability to remove the Sprint applications that are on stuck on your phone otherwise. It gives you deeper customization possibilities. It gives you free WiFi Tethering (or Hotspot Tethering). It allows you to easily create complete backups of your phone. Finally, for the tinkerers among you, it allows you to install custom ROMs which are in essence customized Operating Systems (think Windows 7, OSX, etc).

Ready to root? It’s easy. Very easy.

First, if you’re a Windows user you absolutely must install HBOOT drivers.

Visit the unrevoked website, download Unrevoked 3.21, run it and follow instructions.

NOTE: When asked for USB connection type, select “Charge Only” and “Remember this”.

With all the wiimote mods coming out nowadays, it was only a matter of time before somebody produced a replica of terrorists’ gun of choice. The AK-47 is probably the most famous weapon the Soviets ever produced. Somewhere along the line they became an icon of terrorists. Now all of you Wii owners out there can play Jihad!

Robot Restroom Cleaner

Shaped like a Ladybug, “Lady Bird” is an autonomous robot designed to clean public restrooms at highways rest stops. This is “only in Japan” on so many different levels.

Lady Bird is equipped with water tanks, brushes, and whatever other tools needed for scrubbing. It utilizes obstacle detection sensors so that it won’t run into people.

Lady Bird can even engage in conversation with restroom occupants thanks to a microphone in its antennae. Lady Bird has access to the latest traffic conditions and will gladly tell anybody who asks.

Lady Birds are expected to sell for about $30,000.
