How about the 1814 Horse Shoe Brewery disaster? After a dinner party, a vat was filled to its 4,000-barrel capacity. Unfortunately there was a design flaw that caused it to rupture sending a wall of 1.3 million gallons of dark beer to rush down the street. The result? Nine dead, and two buildings caved in.

Dead 67 year old Serbian Arso Banjeglav was so fond of sending text messages on his mobile phone that his sole dying wish was to be buried alive with it. Weird but doable, right? The funeral seemed to go alright and he was buried with the phone when the family suddenly realized an awful truth - Banjeglav’s grandson had taken out the phone’s SIM card! Now the corpse is going to resurface so that the poor dead guy gets the SIM card he needs so that his soul may finally rest in peace.

It was only a matter of time before this came to light. The Legendary version of Halo 3 ships with a helmet that is not quite ready to be worn; it’s more of a display type deal. Not any more. One Kotaku contributor has figured out how to style and profile in his Legendary Halo 3 helmet.
